We’re Kicking Off our Summer of Music Season with a*FREE* Jazz Blocky Party & You’re all invited!
Get ready to groove and move because our Summer Jazz Block Party is THIS SATURDAY! Join us for an electrifying celebration of music, community, and good vibes. It’s all happening at our FREE Summer Jazz Block Party, where the rhythm is hot, and the atmosphere is cool.
The RBC Afro-Cuban Jazz Orchestra bring irrepressible festival vibes to our Block Party, as we extend a warm NAC summer welcome to our neighbourhood.
This lively band of wonderfully talented young musicians represents a collaboration between the Jazz and Percussion departments at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. They play exciting salsa music for dancing and full-on entertainment, featuring drums, brass and authentic vocal performances.
Co-directed by RBC tutors Shanti Jayasinha and Sophie Hastings, this ensemble has become one of the most in-demand groups of its type in the Midlands, performing regularly at the Conservatoire’s own Eastside Jazz Club, and annually at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival.
Wolverhampton’s own master DJ Stewart Kendrick complements the orchestra with some funky tunes in between sets.
Come and join our party! But guess what? The Fun doesn’t stop there! Check out our other music events that will keep you grooving long into the season.
