THE PROJECT
In August 2023, Newhampton Arts Centre and partners received £846,940 from Arts Council England for a three-year program, totaling £996,000. The Wolverhampton City of Youth Culture initiative, led by the University of Wolverhampton’s Institute for Community Research and Development, aims to enhance cultural opportunities for young people in the city over three years. The program aligns with a broader goal of improving youth life chances, and peer researchers will contribute to the evaluation.
WHO CAN GET INVOLVED
We welcome individuals from all communities in Wolverhampton, regardless of ethnicity, background and age, we actively encourage applications from young people. Closing date for applications is 29th February.
