International Women’s Day 2024

We’re always working to increase the number of female artists as part of all live events at NAC, conscious that we want our super diverse audience to see themselves reflected in the artists on the stage. This spring we hope you’ll join us in celebrating the achievements and sheer awesome-ness of the talent we have coming up at NAC this Spring!

In the jazz programme we have saxophonist, vocalist, and composer, Rebecca Wing, currently in her fourth year studying jazz at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire  & multi-award winning and astonishing talent, Emma Rawicz coming at the end of May.

Our folk programme features Lady Maisery as part of supergroup Wakefire. Also joining us is multi-award-winning Scottish songwriter, folk singer, and storyteller, Karine Polwart.

In April we welcome the Ladies of Laughter from LuvEntertainment & Jessica Fostekew and Sukh Ojla are coming as part of our stand-up comedy season in May.

Plus Storyteller Kirsten Milliken is joining Peter Chand this Sunday to share watery stories and songs as deep as the ocean and as ephemeral as the morning mist.

Join us in celebrating this sheer talent and show your support by booking tickets for these events.
