The Great Slade Debate  – Mad On Blonde & Duchess Charlie

The latest addition to the Slade Fans Convention Weekend sees us bring something a little different to the party!

We are delighted that Paul Cookson & Les Glover will be making a much-requested return to the Slade Fans Convention. After an absence of two years the lads will headline the Café Stage to bring us Slade-themed and other self-penned songs and poetry, all delivered in their unique style. Oh, and with ‘that’ ukelele!

Following on from Paul & Les will be a little thing we are calling The Great Slade Debate. Gareth Jones will be hosting a discussion with a number of very special guests and Slade aficionados to talk about the Slade legacy, their perceptions on the band’s influences on other artists across the music spectrum, and how the panel feel that Slade are perceived in the twenty-first century. There will also be a Q&A session to close this section of the event.

Completing the line-up on the Café Stage will be Mad on Blonde & Duchess Charlie, who will flying in from their base in Spain to do a few renditions of songs you know and love to get you singing along.
