#LoveTheReans Festival at Gatis Street Community Space

1pm-3pm Outdoor Activities in the garden
The Gatis garden will be open to explore and play. There will be a Public Living Room where you can sit and relax and have a chat, pop up BBQ and pop-up nature connection and art activities exploring the plants on site and creating art suitable for all the family and there’s a chance to dance with the disco bike!

Participants of the Man About Mondays mens’ wellbeing project share their poetry in this celebration of the creative writing strand of the project.

1pm – 3pm Battle of Wodensfield 910AD art and poetry workshop with Water Prophet Arts in the secret shed
Art and poetry workshops based on the Battle of Wodensfield 910AD brought to Whitmore Reans from Wolverhampton Art Gallery.
Do you want to take part in designing a tourist attraction? At the Battle of Wodensfield 910 AD Lady Aethelflaed conquered the Vikings and ended Danish rule.
Creative activities for all the family and age ranges and for those with no art experience. Scratch and metal art, making reliefs out of clay, embroidery, poetry and illuminated letters. All materials are provided.

Site accessibility – some areas of the site can be challenging for those with limited mobility. Anyone with mobility issues who would like to explore the site please get in touch beforehand so we can advise.
Parking is very limited at all of the #LoveTheReans Festival sites. We recommend you utilise public transport to attend the festival where possible if you don’t live within walking distance.
On street parking is available near to each site, and there is paid parking available in the Stan Cullis carpark at the Molineaux Stadium if you are attending an event at Newhampton Arts Centre.
There are some accessible parking spaces available on site at each venue, if you require an accessible parking space to be reserved please get in touch.
