Introduction to Oil Painting – a 6 week course

March 31^st – May 12^th with a break for Easter 21^st April

A 6 week course with professional artist Lindsay Pritchard suitable for everyone from beginners to those wanting to improve their oil painting skills.

The course is designed for learners who want to develop a strong foundation in oil painting and is aimed at absolute beginners, artists looking to transition from their usual media and anyone wanting to gain confidence in using oil paints. All aspects will be covered from looking at essential tools and materials through to mastering key brushstrokes and palette knife techniques. There will be step by step painting exercises designed to put learnt knowledge into practice. A list of basics materials such as canvases and brushes will be provided for participants to purchase prior to the start of the course. For an additional charge Lindsay will provide all paints, mediums and solvents needed over the course.
