Central Youth Theatre’s Acting Up group presents ‘All Out 90’s’ as part of their youth theatre wide project ‘Passion for Progress’*
Central Youth Theatre – The Clark family have booked a beautiful cottage in Wales for their summer holiday get away. But thanks to the good old British weather, their plans are spoiled, and they must look for fun indoors to pass the time.
Inside a dusty cupboard, they find a pile of board games and opt for the strangely named ‘All out 90’s’. They must answer as many questions as possible about the decade of the 1990’s to win. However, once the box is opened, magic is unleashed and they are all mysteriously pulled inside a real-life quiz show, with the very real danger of becoming trapped inside forever if they fail to answer all the questions correctly! Expect to meet some celebrity guests, see some fantastic dance moves and more importantly – find out if the Clark family will make it out of the 90’s!
*Passion for Progress explores the changes in social history throughout Queen Elizabeth’s reign from 1950 up to today. Central Youth Theatre are staging 7 performances throughout 2022 that span the last 70 years and explore some of the key cultural moments of each decade.
This performance has been generously supported by BBC’s Children in Need.
