New Art Lab: Art & Design Saturday Club

New Art Lab: Join the new Art & Design Saturday Club at Newhampton Arts Centre, where you will be able to focus on and explore all aspects of visual arts and design. As part of the Club, you’ll help shape an exciting and evolving programme while building your creative skills and connecting with others. Every week, club members will enjoy fun, hands-on activities, meet inspiring artists, and visit galleries – all for free!

What to Expect

• Develop your creative skills with fun, hands-on activities.
• Meet inspiring artists and gain valuable insights.
• Enjoy free visits to galleries and other cultural venues.
• Participate in national events like:
  • Masterclasses with leading industry professionals.
  • The Summer Show, where Saturday Clubs nationwide showcase their work in a public exhibition.

 

When

• Weekly Sessions:
  Every Saturday morning, 10:30 am – 1:00 pm (January – June 2025).
  (Lunch and materials are provided for free!)
• Taster Sessions:
  Curious about the Club? You could come over to one of our taster sessions, at NAC or Urban Rooms in the city centre. During a fun, creative activity you can find out more about the club and, see if it’s something you might want to join (parents are welcome to attend)

Who Can Join

Young people between ages 12-16 living or going to school in Wolverhampton and interested in visual arts and design, ready to commit to a fantastic programme running from late January 2025 – June 2025.
